Our latest product generation combines high performance with uncompromising quality – designed to meet demanding international standards and enable seamless retrofitting of existing systems.
This DC/DC converter features a remarkably wide input range from 14.4 V to 154 V, supporting all nominal voltages specified by EN 50155. This simplifies qualification of customer-specific assemblies and helps reduce inventory costs while ensuring global deployment capabilities.
An integrated RIA 12 filter provides robust protection against voltage waveforms A to G – without disruption or damage. Compliance with IEEE 1482.1 ensures protection against energy pulses up to 80 joules.
The total output power of 43 VDC is distributed across three dedicated channels: 5.1 V, 12 V, and -12 V. In the event of input voltage failure, a 20 ms buffer allows for a controlled system shutdown and secure data preservation.
Carefully selected components allow operation and storage at temperatures as low as -55 °C – tailored to customer-specific needs beyond standard EN 50155 railway norms. Even in tight installation environments, the converter ensures reliable performance at ambient temperatures up to 70 °C, briefly up to 85 °C – without derating.
Sophisticated thermal design keeps the temperature delta between hot spots and ambient below 15 °C, minimizing stress on components.
An embedded chip is programmed with the customer’s unique serial number, enabling individual product identification. Autronic guarantees 100% traceability of all components used throughout the DC/DC production process – a core element of our quality philosophy.
Compliant with international fire protection standards NF F and EN 45545-2, the converter achieves a theoretical calculated reliability of over 1.1 million hours (according to IEC 62380, at 60 °C), setting a new benchmark in operational endurance.
