With the HFC100-W series, AUTRONIC offers DC/DC converters suitable for railway applications with an ultra-wide input in the 100 W power range. The converters offer an ultra-wide input range from 14.4 V to 154 V and thus set standards in their class. All requirements for use in railroad technology in accordance with EN 50155 and EN50121-3-2 are met.
AUTRONIC thus emphatically proves that the conformal coated plug-and-play solutions with an impressive efficiency of over 92 % make design-in easier. The railway-specific EMC requirements are met without additional external circuit. Other features are active inrush current limitation (10 A), active reverse polarity protection and protection against overvoltage, overtemperature and overcurrent. The integrated 10 ms hold up time (S2) is a matter of course, as is the option of trimming the output voltage (±10%) or operating up to three converters in parallel.
All onboard electrical system voltages from 24 V to 110 V are covered by a single converter, which simplifies the design-in and thus the approvals for customer applications. The galvanically isolated power supplies have been developed in accordance with temperature class OT4 ST1 and ST2 and deliver up to 100 W power in all permanently approved operating conditions, without any derating up to 70 °C, at least 10 minutes up to 85 °C. In addition to chassis mounting, the converters can also be mounted on a DIN rail. Fire and smoke according to EN 45545-2 is fulfilled with hazard level 3, shock/vibration (category 1 class B according to EN 61373) as well as damp/ cyclic heat are complied with according to the rail requirements.
Converters with 12 V or 24 V output voltage are available. Depending on the version selected, EMC06 (additional requirements of DB, ÖBB and SBB) is complied with.
Es sind Wandler mit 12 V oder 24 V Ausgangsspannung verfügbar. Je nach ausgewählter Version wird die EMV06 (Zusatzanforderungen der DB, ÖBB und SBB) eingehalten.
