Compliance with the fire protection test according to EN 45545-2 is a matter of course. Here, the rating up to hazard level 3 allows the use in almost all types of trains, regardless of the operating conditions. A special feature is that almost all AUTRONIC DC/DC converters are completely filtered and no further external circuitry is required. This allows a simple and uncomplicated use of the converters.
Based on field values or theoretical MTBF calculations it is obvious that a long operating time in the field is guaranteed.
